Chris Klopf

Chris Klopf, age 58, started shooting and surfing the same year, 1965. One of the last hold outs who's still shooting film. I just purchased a FF Canon 5D mk 2, digital camera, but I have yet to shoot a digital frame of surfing. I grew up in rural northern California, north of San Francisco and still live in Mendocino county. I love the uncrowded wilderness of the area and I'll never move. I'm probably less of a sports photographer, and tend to shoot more photos that give you a sense of 'being there', a little more back and foreground in the photo, with more focus on composition.
