I kicked off The Weekend Warrior blog and newsletter back in April 2007. I enjoy showing people what surfers get to experience whenever they are in the water through my photography. The Weekend Warrior is a great tool which allows me to do this. I live in Perth West Oz, which suffers from notoriously ordinary surf but I escape down to Margaret River or up north to chase quality waves whenever it is pumping. The product after each shoot is a free email, delivering ocean imagery from the surf-rich coastline of Western Australia and beyond. Crafted commentary compliments the images to deliver a complete, retrospective surf report.
The Weekend Warrior is pitched at anyone who surfs and/or appreciates the ocean, from frothing grommets to esteemed elders cruising on mals. Check out my website at www.hughdavis.com.au for more information and to subscribe to the regular froth.
