Rip Curl Indonesia Artist of the Search 2011

Over the last 3 years, Rip Curl’s ‘Artist of the Search‘ program has brought together artists, unique destinations, and a creative mission all within the realm of the "Search" to create a distinctive collection of products. Joining the program for 2011, Rip Curl INDONESIA is giving a chance for artists to get involved with this exciting program by creating the poster artwork for the Rip Curl Cup Padang Padang 2011.

This is the most prestigious and longest running professional Surfing competition in SE Asia held at one of the most mystical and dangerous waves in Bali. The event is also unique in the fact that it pits the best local surfers against some of the worlds best tube riders making it one of the most talked about events of the year.

Rip Curl will use this event artwork to then create a line of tee shirts, boardshorts, sandals, hats and accessories all made from eco friendly materials supporting the 2011 event.

Not only will the winning artist get the chance to be involved with a Search collaboration showcasing his or her artwork to millions of people around this fantastic event but will also walk away with a prize of a MACBOOK PRO for their efforts.
